520 _aThis documentary series consists of four parts that deal with the history and culture of Arab Christians. The first part examines the effects of Arab society on the Christian message and Christian sects. In addition, it examines the relationship of Eastern and Western churches in the context of an active Arab and Christian participation in culture, economy and politics. The second part examines political Islam and Christianity through various perspectives; the culture of excluding others, the Islamic-Christian dialog, the stereotypical images of Christians and Muslims, and the reason for the diminished role of Arab Christians. The third part looks at the rights of Arab Christians in their countries. It also studies the major reasons for civil wars, some of which have had a religious basis, such as in Lebanon and Sudan. It also examines Arab Christian immigration and the motives behind it. The fourth part looks at Christian evangelization, the relationship with Western churches, neo-conservatives, and how Western governments relate to Arab Christians.
