Little Sung Neng Yee lived like a princess until the Japanese seized her house in 1941. After the defeat of Japan, she joined the Communists believing that they are the liberators of China. All goes well until she falls in love with Lam Cheng Shen from Hing Kong. She marries and has children. Communist officials decide to break her of any bourgeois tendencies and persecute her. She calls to God for salvation and He helps her gain her freedom and that of her family. An intimate love story and a saga of courage.
