Before B4UD8 (the intro) -- Before we drop some knowledge on y'all, let's look at the usual dating suspects -- Date with a purpose -- Why do you want to date? Do you have a noble purpose or a shady one? Find out the purpose dating plays in your life and if you should even consider putting dating on the shelf -- Take care of the temple -- As believers we are charged with taking care of the temple. Have you done a good job or are you trashing the place? -- Dating is not marriage -- So what's the difference between dating and marriage? There are perks that go with each situation. Have you gotten those perks mixed up or do you know what you're doing? -- Have a life -- If your friends complain that since you've started dating they never see you, then you've lost your life for love. Is it worth it? or Is there a middle ground? -- Red flags are red for a reason -- Don't ignore red flags. They are there to get you to stop and look around. If you aren't willing to even consider red flags, then don't be surprised when you drive off a cliff -- Embrace rejection -- The only person who can't be destroyed by rejection is the one who isn't afraid of it. Find out how to break the fear of hearing "no" and how to handle it when you like someone more than they like you -- Don't date your idol -- Is love your obsession? if it is, then check it out, you might be dating your idol. How do you think God feels about that?
